Pets

Your pet, being themselves

Natural, unposed portraits of your pets in their element. At home, on the walk they know, wherever they are most themselves.

Two small dogs in green frog hoodies, one looking up

Most of these were made at a rehoming centre: no owner to call the dog back, no treats, no second go at a moment. Your session is easier than that. Home, garden, or the walk they know, with you there.

A collie looking straight into the camera
A French bulldog, close up, with soft brown eyes
A chihuahua in a green frog hoodie, standing in a bright room
A scruffy terrier with a paw raised, looking up
A small dog peeking under a bar
A black dog with both paws up, head tilted

How I work

Their pace, their place

  1. i

    Their pace

Sessions are relaxed and unhurried, so nervous or excitable animals have time to settle and forget the camera.

  2. ii

    Their place

Home, garden, park or the walk they know. Familiar surroundings mean natural behaviour, not a studio stare.

  3. iii

    Their character

The look, the habit, the way they sit: the things you would recognise anywhere. That is what the pictures are for.
